Hot Fix 5 for BioLogon 3 SP7a
Hot Fix 5 for BioLogon 3 SP7a requires BioLogon 3 SP7a to be installed prior to installation

This Hot Fix is a cumulative hot fix and it includes modifications made in Hot Fix 1, 2, 3 and 4 as well as adding support for the BTO-500 fingerprint reader. To be able to use the BTO-500 fingerprint reader with BioLogon 3 SP7a Hot Fix 5, you are required to install FRC 4.5 (Fingerprint Reader Components). To do this you must uninstall any previous versions of the Fingerprint Reader Components via Add/Remove Programs.

- Support for the BTO-500

- On hyper-threaded and multi-processor machines, the BioLogon GINA can force the workstation to shut down when the desktop is locked by either the screen saver or by manually locking via ctrl-alt-del. When the workstation shuts down in this fashion, it will typically hang at the “Save Setttings” dialog box.

- Under certain circumstances, the screen saver process fails to end when unlocking the workstation.

- When logging in to an application that was written using the BioLogon SDK, if the user is prompted to change their password and then they try to change the password, an error was generated that said “Either a required impersonation level was not provided or the provided impersonation level is invalid”

- When logging in to an application that was written using the BioLogon SDK AFTER logging on to a Citrix session using an anonymous log on, the user may encounter a non-capture of a fingerprint that results in re-displaying of the capture window. This defect is characterized by an abnormal amount of time between the capture of the fingerprint and the re-display of the capture window, and the eventual “freeze” of the workstation.

- Memory leaks accounted for and removed in all DLLs
