For integrators and agencies looking to customize different components in a PIV solution, L-1 Identity Solutions offers a range of interoperable, standards-based components that can work on their own or together to meet individual agency needs. Our end-to-end components have been certified by NIST and GSA and optimized for use in PIV. They produce the highest quality biometric data records for maximum system performance and our modular approach makes it easy to scale, upgrade and incorporate into a larger, IDMS environment.
Our customizable, HSPD-12 compliant components include the following, which are sold separately and can be customized to meet a particular agency’s requirements:
- Multi-Biometric Capture Station: Verifies the authenticity of ID documents, captures high-quality fingerprints and facial images, and handles standards formatting and transmission to IDMS or central databases for background check submissions.
- ABIS System: Serves as the repository for the biometric data within the IDMS, which the integrator will build.
- Card Verification Station: Matches the fingerprints stored on the card against the person to whom the card is being issued.
- Workflow Manager & Archiver: Links these modules together and also ties in multiple capture stations into the central IDMS.
- Toppan Printing Solutions*: Produce long-lasting, high-quality ID documents.
- Single Fingerprint Readers: PIV-certified readers to capture high quality fingerprint images.
